Most offer corporate relocations and for additional charges, will do a
complete install and setup of office cubes and furniture. They also offer
warehouse storage where most of the times your goods are packed into wood
storage vaults. These storage containers or vaults average in size by
5' wide, 5' long, and 7' in height, some offer smaller and larger sizes.
You can pack your own goods yourself to save money and they will load them
and pick them up. Your property is then warehoused at your at your desired
storage location or warehoused at a central location until you have confirmed your location of destination. Clients can retrieve a
single item or many items and have them delivered. Most moving and storage
companies do not allow access to your property at the warehouse locations.
If using packing and unpacking services these moves tend to be much
more costly then doing it yourself, however these are professional movers
and your property usually is very well packed and cared for. Moving and
storage sites are very economical for long term storage were there
is little or no need to visit your stored goods on a regular basis. This
type of storage tends very secured and less vulnerable to the temperature
because of being warehoused in a building. Most do not offer vehicle
storage, boat or RV storage. Moving and storage supplies such as
boxes, packing material are usually available for purchase. Access
hours tend to be limited and should be arranged in advance. These
warehouse moving and storage sites are typically opened 5 days a week,
with business hours from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 PM with the exception of major
holidays.
